Movement Dynamics I: Exploring the Three Dimensions
In MD I, we experience the joy of movement and balance as we move our three-dimensional bodies in three-dimensional space, experiencing the body as context for thought and action.
Through action balances (five-step learning processes) and movement flows set to integrated music, participants experience:
- Moving for ease and vitality
- The relationship between intentional movement and physical boundaries
- Verbal and non-verbal communication patterns
- Spatial organization with follow-through for goal attainment
- Interacting with others in community
- 30+ new crossover movements added to the Brain Gym 26 and Vision Gym 32
Movement Dynamics II: The Flow Medleys
In MD II, we discover the pleasure of relaxing and energizing to the coreographed flows of combined movements from the MD cross-over moves, the Integrated Moves, the Brain Gym and Vision Gym moves.
It is a time to reconnect with your innate sense of timing, rhythm and flow, your ease of movement, stability and coordination. Positive results flow as the visual system relaxes.
In MD II, participants experience five action balances and intentional movement for:
- Increasing creativity
- Identifying personal space and physical boundaries
- Increasing choice and spontaneity
- Living in celebration
Movement Dynamics helps develop and refine your physical intelligence as you improve your coordination and find more rhythm. Movement Dynamics may be adapted for use by people of all ages and abilities. Practical applications are emphasized including the classroom.
MD I & II are open to all students who have taken Brain Gym 101. Each course provides eight credit hours toward licensure.
